Job Fair – Lab Technicians/Warehouse Needed (Thursday July 23rd, 2026 9am-1pm)

ABB OPTICAL GROUP is hosting a JOB FAIR/OPEN HOUSE on Thursday July 23rd, 2026, from 9AM-1PM at our Pittsburg location. Our address is 500 Business Center Drive, Suite 502 Pittsburgh, PA 15205 (BACK OF BUILDING)

Lab Technicians -

Full time positions needed M-F 7:30am- 4:30pm or 8am-5pm

As a Lab Technician, you will have the opportunity to train in multiple areas that fit your skill set. Some potential duties include:

Become a machine operator and operate state of the art CNC machinery.

Receive incoming frames and orders to start our manufacturing process.

Ship lenses and frames to multiple locations across the United States.

Operate state of the art equipment in thin film coating processes.

Assemble multiple types of frames using hand tools.

Learn multiple processes for different lens types and manufacturers.

Learn quality control process.

Work safely and quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Learn job skills that last a lifetime and cross train in additional areas around the lab.

As a Full time Lab Technician, you will be eligible for:

Pay based on experience plus up to $2 shift differential for third shift.

3 weeks of paid time off per year, which increases as you grow with ABB.

Full Benefit package including health, dental, disability, life, and vision insurance.

401K retirement plan with a 3 ½% company match.

Up to $5,250 of tuition reimbursement per year

Temperature controlled work environment with casual dress.

Promotions as soon as 90 days after your hire date by following our Career Pathways program.

To become a Lab Technician, you will need to:

Be a team player with a positive attitude who strives to perform at your best daily.

Have attention to detail, accuracy, repetition, and fine motor skills.

Be able to stand for most of your shift and work in a fast-paced environment.

Be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout your shift.

Have the ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs.

Compensation Range
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $16.00-$18 per hour. This represents the good-faith estimate of the compensation range at the time of posting.

Actual pay will be based on job-related factors, which may include:

Geographic location
Relevant experience
Education and qualifications
Job-related skills
Internal equity considerations
Applicable minimum wage laws

This position may also be eligible for a bonus and/or commission plan, subject to the terms of the applicable plan.

Full-time employees and/or their eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company-sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, group life insurance, voluntary supplemental life insurance, supplemental health benefits (critical illness, hospital, accident), short- and long-term disability, paid family leave (applicable states), 401k, tuition reimbursement, and eyewear discounts.
