Job SummaryJob DescriptionThe Training Specialist, Sr. is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of comprehensive training solutions that drive performance across all functions within Medline’s Quality department, including but not limited to Quality Engineering, R&D, Regulatory, Branch QA/QC, Labeling, Laboratory, and EHS. This role serves as a subject matter expert in technical Quality-related topics, elevating training initiatives to support both immediate operational needs and long-term business objectives.Core Job Responsibilities: <ul><li>Proactively partner with cross-functional leadership to build and support role-based new-hire training and onboarding programs, prioritizing learning initiatives that align with strategic organizational goals.</li><li>Collaborate with and actively support Medline’s Quality Engineer Development Program by tracking and reporting out training completion, generating and auditing assignments, and providing guidance to employees.</li><li>Measure Training Effectiveness and Drive Improvement: Design and implement evaluation mechanisms (e.g., competency assessments, effectiveness checks, engagement) to assess program impact and inform ongoing enhancements. Present key performance metrics and strategic recommendations to leadership. Design robust evaluation mechanisms; present metrics and recommendations to leadership.</li><li>Develop and facilitate trainings on both technical and soft skills, as required.</li><li>Facilitate Strategic Learning Events: Plan and execute high-visibility training sessions and organization-wide learning events. Develop and facilitate trainings on both technical and soft skills, as required.</li></ul>Qualifications: Required:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Math, Education/Training or other related technical field, or a combination of education and experience in these fields.</li><li>At least 2 years of experience</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>At least 2 years of experience in medical device, drug, or cosmetics quality environments.</li><li>Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in a quality-focused organization.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; positive, people-focused attitude.</li><li>Proficiency with presentation and communication tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Canva, etc.)</li><li>Intermediate Skill Level in Microsoft Excel (for example: conditional formatting, tables, formulas, charting)</li><li>Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence cross-functional teams.</li><li>Excellent communication, facilitation, and self-leadership skills, with experience presenting in-person and virtually, with different levels of audiences ranging from individual contributors to leadership.</li></ul>Medline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.The anticipated salary range for this position:$79,000.00 - $119,000.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
