Overview
Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech needed for an adult echo lab in Burlington, VT. This travel, temporary assignment starts 08/10/2026 and runs for 6 weeks, with a weekly pay rate of $2,716–$2,889 and 0.0 guaranteed hours. Shift is 5x8 Days. The assignment takes place in a hospital setting and involves ultrasound imaging across inpatient, outpatient, and ICU populations. Mileage-based pay tiers apply (rates tiered by mileage measured by direct line: Travel 101 miles+, Radius 51–100 miles, Local 50 miles or less). Some days may require floating to an outpatient facility. Some on-call may be required. EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required for this assignment, along with specific ultrasound credentials.

Responsibilities

Perform adult echocardiography studies and related ultrasound exams in a high-volume lab
Prepare patients, position them appropriately, and optimize imaging to ensure diagnostic-quality studies
Maintain documentation and enter observations into the patient record; collaborate with interpreting physicians
Manage daily caseload with a minimum target of 7–8 studies; may float to outpatient facilities as needed
Adhere to lab protocols, infection control, and equipment QC; ensure patient safety and comfort
Respond to on-call requirements as defined for the assignment; support EPIC workflow for order and result entry
Work effectively with IP, OP, and ICU patient populations in a hospital setting

Requirements

Licenses/Certifications: ARDCS (ARDMS or CCI)
Certifications: AHA BLS; EKG recognition required; Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency) may be accepted
Experience: minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience; EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required
Education: not specified
Additional: ability to work in a hospital environment; reliable transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transportation in the area
Start date readiness: ASAP start may be considered with assignment duration of 6 weeks
