Sectra is looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team in Shelton, Connecticut.
As a Recruiter at Sectra, you will play a critical role in helping us attract and hire talented individuals who are passionate about technology, innovation, and improving patient care. Working closely with hiring managers across engineering, customer operations, sales, and corporate functions, you will manage full-cycle recruitment activities while helping create an exceptional candidate experience.
This role is ideal for someone with 2–4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience who enjoys building relationships, identifying talent, and serving as a trusted partner to both candidates and hiring managers. You'll have the opportunity to recruit for a wide variety of roles while learning about healthcare IT, medical imaging, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and other areas that support Sectra's mission.
Reporting directly to the Director of Talent Acquisition, this position offers the opportunity to grow your recruiting expertise while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing HR team.
What You Will Do
Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for a variety of positions across the organization
Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define candidate profiles, and develop recruitment strategies
Source, screen, and evaluate candidates through a variety of channels, including LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and direct outreach
Conduct recruiter screens and guide candidates through the interview process
Coordinate interviews and collaborate with hiring teams to ensure a positive and efficient candidate experience
Manage candidate communications, interview scheduling, feedback collection, and offer processes
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
Partner with colleges, universities, and professional organizations to support talent attraction initiatives
Support employer branding and recruiting marketing efforts
Track recruiting metrics and provide hiring updates to stakeholders
Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within the applicant tracking system
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across recruiting, onboarding, and talent acquisition processes
Travel as required, up to 25%
Skills & Requirements
Who You Are
You have 2–4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, either in-house or within an agency environment
You are passionate about building relationships and helping people find meaningful career opportunities
You are highly organized and capable of managing multiple searches and priorities simultaneously
You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
You are comfortable partnering with managers and influencing hiring decisions through data and market insights
You enjoy sourcing and proactively identifying talent rather than relying solely on applicants
You are detail-oriented and take pride in providing a high-quality candidate experience
You are self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn
You enjoy working in a collaborative team environment
Nice to Have
Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, healthcare IT, software, or customer-facing positions
Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systems
Exposure to recruiting metrics, workforce planning, or talent market analysis
Experience supporting university recruiting or internship programs
Familiarity with employment laws and recruiting best practices

Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $80,000–$100,000, based on experience and qualifications
Based in Shelton, CT
