Full Job Description

Avery Products Corporation is looking for a Senior Customer Incentive Analyst who will be responsible for the administration, calculation, forecasting, and analysis of customer incentive programs, including rebates, freight allowances, promotional incentives, and other customer credit programs. This role ensures the accurate and timely processing of customer credits while providing financial analysis and forecasting support to Sales, Finance, and Commercial teams. The Senior Customer Incentive Analyst serves as a key business partner, delivering insights into customer profitability and the financial impact of incentive programs.

What you will be doing:

Calculate, validate, and process customer rebates, freight allowances, volume incentives, promotional programs, and other contractual customer credits.
Ensure timely and accurate issuance of customer credits in accordance with contractual agreements and company policies.
Review customer agreements to interpret rebate terms, pricing provisions, and incentive structures.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual rebate accruals and reconciliations.
Develop and maintain rebate forecasts and provide projected incentive expenses for sales forecasts, budgets, and business planning activities.
Analyze actual versus forecasted rebate and incentive expenses, commissions, identify variances, and communicate findings to management.
Partner with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to support pricing strategies and customer negotiations.
Maintain rebate models, reporting tools, and financial analyses using advanced Excel and other reporting systems.
Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial close activities related to customer incentive programs.
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and analysis related to rebate programs.
Create ad hoc reports and financial analyses for leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and contractual obligations.

What you need to succeed:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, financial analysis, pricing, rebate administration, or a related analytical role.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
Pivot Tables
XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP
INDEX/MATCH
Complex formulas
Data analysis and modeling
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.

Preferred

Experience administering customer rebate or incentive programs within a manufacturing, distribution, or consumer products environment.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
Experience with business intelligence or reporting tools such as Power BI.
Knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
