Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Legal Secretary/Receptionist to join our vibrant law firm. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support legal professionals across a diverse range of practice areas. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator with exceptional organizational skills, ready to manage administrative tasks efficiently while providing outstanding front-desk support. This paid position is perfect for someone eager to grow within a fast-paced legal environment and contribute to the smooth operation of our law office.

Duties

Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a professional and welcoming reception experience
Manage incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing inquiries appropriately
Maintain and organize legal documents using document management systems such as CLIO and MS Outlook.
Perform data entry, filing, and document review to support ongoing legal cases and research efforts
Support attorneys with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and managing calendars
Conduct initial client interviews and gather necessary information for case preparation in various practice areas.

Experience

Entry-level position.

We are willing to train the successful candidate to grow with our firm.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven clerical or legal administrative experience within a busy law office
Familiarity with legal case management software such as CLIO and MS Outlook is highly preferred
Exceptional computer skills
Proficient knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook
Excellent typing, transcription, grammar, and proofreading skills
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and client interaction experience

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
