Full Job Description

The Production Administrator supports cannabis oil manufacturing and compliance operations by executing terpene formulation, inventory tracking, and regulatory documentation. This role ensures accurate data entry across METRC, Zoho CRM, and internal spreadsheets, while coordinating testing, packaging, and SOP updates. The assistant also serves as a backup equipment operator and contributes to maintaining OLCC compliance.

Key Responsibilities and Accountability:

Oil Production & Formulation

Introduce terpenes into cannabis oil using company recipes.
Operate the Thompson Duke filling equipment as a backup filler.

Inventory & System Updates

Maintain the “Oil Batching Log” Google Sheet with production data.
Create and manage packages in METRC, including processing jobs and item creation per OLCC rules.
Enter the produced inventory into Zoho CRM and ensure system alignment.
Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and METRC records. Apply company-approved adjustment reasons to METRC packages when needed.
Create and maintain accurate manifests for all product transfers and deliveries
Assist with product intake, quality control sampling, and lab submissions

Testing Coordination

Schedule oil testing with approved labs.
Use package ordering templates to generate spreadsheets with testing details.
Record test results in METRC and maintain organized documentation.

Packaging & Quality Control

Proof packaging for accuracy and compliance.
Ensure packaging meets internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Oversee order packaging workflows to ensure correct SKUs, labels, and lot traceability.

Documentation & SOP Management

Generate and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.
Maintain clear records of production, testing, and compliance activities.
Stay current on OLCC and METRC updates, implementing changes to internal SOPs as needed

Qualifications:

Familiarity with METRC and OLCC compliance procedures.
Experience with Zoho CRM and Google Workspace tools.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to follow precise recipes and production protocols.
Comfortable with cannabis manufacturing equipment and safety standards.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on precision, understands the importance of regulatory integrity, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
Assist with Production Practices as needed.
