Rehab & Therapy Tech – Specialty Disc & Spinal Care Clinic (Lake in the Hills, IL) | Pay: $20.00 – $26.00/hr | Part-Time or Full-Time | In-Person

About the Role

Precise Chiropractic Center is a specialty disc and spinal care clinic that has been serving the northwest suburbs since 2006. We run advanced technology — AccuSpina IDD, Hill DT traction, Class IV Laser, and SoftWave — and we are seeking an experienced Rehab & Therapy Technician who is confident working directly with patients and ready to become part of a high-performing clinical team. Join a busy, well-established specialty clinic serving hundreds of active patients each week using advanced non-surgical spine technology. This is a career-track position at a clinic that takes outcomes seriously. If you’ve been doing hands-on patient care and want to work somewhere that respects that skill set, this role is worth a close look. This is not a temporary position — we invest in training and are looking for someone interested in growing into a senior clinical rehabilitation role within our practice.

Day to day, you will:

Setting up and monitoring patients on spinal decompression and traction equipment
Administering Class IV Laser and SoftWave therapy following established protocols
Guiding patients through individualized rehab exercise progressions
Maintaining smooth patient flow and fully prepped treatment rooms
Educating and encouraging patients throughout their treatment program
Reinforcing doctor-directed care plans and prescribed exercises
Building patient confidence while ensuring a consistent treatment experience

This Role Is a Strong Fit If You Are:

A Chiropractic Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Physical Therapy Aide with hands-on clinical experience
Someone with 2–3+ years of direct, hands-on patient care — not observation, not clerical
Someone who takes ownership of the patient experience — proactive, not just compliant
Comfortable working with clinical autonomy while staying in sync with the team — you don’t need to be managed through every session

This Role Is NOT for You If:

You are currently enrolled in school and looking for part-time work around your classes
You want something temporary, seasonal, or a bridge between jobs
Your experience is primarily administrative, front desk, or observation-only
You have fewer than 2 years of hands-on patient contact in a clinical setting

We specialize in non-surgical disc and spinal care for patients other clinics haven’t been able to help. Our technology stack — AccuSpina IDD, Hill DT, SoftWave, and Class IV Laser — requires skilled hands to run and produces real, measurable outcomes. Qualifications

2–3 years minimum of hands-on patient care in a chiropractic, medical, or rehab setting (Required)
Background as a Chiropractic Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Physical Therapy Aide strongly preferred
Hands-on experience with therapeutic modalities and patient setup is required; while prior experience with our specific equipment (AccuSpina IDD, SoftWave, Class IV Laser) is not necessary, comprehensive training is provided — we are looking for someone who already possesses strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
Strong patient communication skills and a professional, team-oriented demeanor
Ability to remain on your feet, move continuously, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout the shift
Local to the Lake in the Hills / northwest suburbs area — reliable commute required

Monday – Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Thursday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Friday & Saturday: 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM

As a small, independently owned clinic with a team under 20, we do not currently offer employer-sponsored health insurance. We are transparent about this upfront because we respect your time. Yes. Candidates with scheduling flexibility beyond the core Monday–Thursday 3:00–7:30 PM and Saturday morning schedule may be considered for additional hours.

A minimum of 2–3 years of direct, hands-on patient care in a chiropractic, medical, or rehabilitation setting is required. Administrative or observation-only experience does not meet this threshold.
