Full Job Description

Director of Pediatric Clinical Psychology

About the position

We are seeking an experienced pediatric clinical psychologist, preferably, board certified to provide psychological-based therapies to patients and their families, supervision and training of psychotherapists, and clinical research. This position can be based out of any of our New Jersey, North Carolina, Rhode Island or New Mexico clinics or can be remote via our online telehealth virtual clinic. We also have the ability to set up regional clinics in states where our employees live and they work out of these clinics providing in-clinic and virtual consultations and treatments.

In addition to Director related duties, you will be part of a clinical team providing the following mental health services conducting:

Intakes and initial exams
Specialty exams
Individual and group psychotherapy
Couples and family psychotherapy if applicable
Behavioral therapy and behavioral training with patients and parents
Hire, train, and supervise staff providing psychological services
Participate as a researcher in one or more of our clinical research trials for those interested in research and/or initiate your own clinical research studies

Competitive base salary with quarterly performance cash bonuses as well as other incentives and benefits as described within for full-time employees (healthcare, retirement plans with company contributions up to 3% of each employee’s salary annual and paid leave including holidays) with some benefits also available for part-time employees. Salary is based on education/degree, years of clinical experience and interpersonal skills. A signing bonus is also offered which is paid out at the end of the employees’ 3-month probationary / credentialing period.

Part-time employment and private practice options are also available and can be discussed with candidates during their interview if a full-time W2 salary is not preferred.

Qualifications

·Clinical psychologist, licensed in New Jersey, North Carolina or at least one other state and have telehealth certification as part of Psypact
A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience which can include the applicant's post-doctoral residency / fellowship
Preference will be give to board certified candidates in psychotherapy

About the NeuroCognitive & Behavioral Institute (NCBI)
The NeuroCognitive & Behavioral Institute specializes in diagnosing and treating cognitive, neuropsychiatric, and neurobehavioral disorders in pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

We have 5 clinical programs/centers that are represented in each of our 4 outpatient clinics in New Jersey and we operate in several other states across the US via our interactive telehealth programs:

1) The Neurodevelopmental Diagnostics and Treatment Center; 2) The Center for Acquired and Traumatic Brain Injury; 3) The Mind-Body Neuropsychiatric and Mental Health Disorders Center: 4) The Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Neurodegenerative diseases and; 5) The Sleep Study and Treatment Center.

NCBI clinics are located in Camden, Morris, Somerset, and Essex Counties of New Jersey, and in North Carolina, Rhode Island, New Mexico and online at neuroci.com via our telehealth program offering diagnostic and treatment services in 17 other states. We also have a very active clinical research division where we conduct early-late drug development, functional brain mapping and neuromodulation research.
