IT Specialist – Plant Maintenance and EAM
1 year Contract position
Pay range $48-$60 hr
The IT Production Systems Team within is responsible for ERP, MES, and SCADAsystems required to operate the Blythewood Production Center. Within our team, we are seeking an IT Specialist – Plant Maintenance to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our SAP Plant Maintenance module (PM) in alignment with our Production Center business objectives. This role is specifically designed to oversee the installation, configuration, and upkeep of our SAP Plant Maintenance module and productive asset management systems.
What you’ll do

Design, implement, and support the SAP PM module, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory compliance in an OEM automotive environment.
Perform regular health checks and troubleshooting for the SAP PM module running on an SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud client.
Lead and support the implementation and enhancement of SAP PM processes.
Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, provide solutions, and create
functional specifications.
Configure SAP PM modules including equipment master, maintenance plans, notifications, orders, task lists, and work centers.
Integrate SAP PM with other SAP modules such as MM, WM and EWM, FI, and CO.
Monitor and recommend patches and upgrades to the SAP PM module as required.
Provide production support, resolve issues, and implement improvements.
Manage PM business users, authorizations, and profiles in collaboration with Scout SAP Basis and Security teams.
Provide key user training and support as needed.
Document SAP processes and system changes.
Collaborate with the SAP AMS and development teams to ensure optimal performance of the SAP PM module.
Location
In-Person Attendance: Minimum 4 days per week in office location.
Location: Blythewood, SC
Travel: Applicants should expect that the role requires the ability to convene with Scout
colleagues in person and be able to travel to participate in events on behalf of the company as needed. This includes Domestic and International travel up to 15%, passport required.

Here’s what else you’ll bring:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field is preferred, or at least ten years of IT enterprise application administration and deployment experience in lieu of degree.
At least eight years of SAP Plant Maintenance experience, including managing and
supporting SAP PM module. Full-cycle implementation experience a plus.
Strong understanding of PM business processes including preventive, corrective, and
predictive maintenance.
Background in asset management and regulatory compliance within an automotive
environment.
Experience working in a OEM automotive assembly plant is strongly preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and quickly resolve SAP system issues and errors.
Attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate system documentation and adhering to SAP system maintenance schedules.
Ability to stay updated with the latest SAP updates, patches, and best practices.
Experience with SAP Fiori and mobile PM applications is preferred.
Ability to work with others efficiently and effectively in a dynamic greenfield environment.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically while executing tactically, ensuring alignment between short-term tasks and long-term objectives.
