Full Job Description

Amarillo's largest and top-rated home health agency is looking for an exceptional RN field nurse to add to our team. Experience in Home Health, Hospice, IV Therapy or wound care is preferred but not required. On-the-job training is available for nurses who have not worked in home health care.

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

Work one-on-one with patients in a home environment
Computerized documentation
Exercise strong decision making and judgment skills
Registered Nurses work with an interdisciplinary team in weekly case conferences
Receive health, dental, vision, and short-term disability insurance
Receive 3+ weeks of paid time off every year
Cash out paid time off if you don't use it
Eligible for sign-on bonus
Eligible for pay increase every six months
Bonus pay for COVID patient visits

Qualifications:

Registered Nurses must be licensed in the State of Texas.
Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate degree in nursing
Minimum of one year Home Healthcare experience preferred (but not required).
Must work well independently, enjoy problem solving and understand the importance of accurate documentation.
Thrives in situations requiring critical thinking.
Valid Driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.

As a nurse at BSA Compassion Home Care, typical hours are Monday-Friday 8 AM to 5 PM with opportunities for occasional on-call and/or weekend duties. All of our field staff receives tablets for in-home visits, so you must be computer proficient to excel in this opportunity. Our model is different from other home health agencies in that field RN’s only do visits so that they can focus on our patients. No creating 485's or checking insurance benefits!
