Job Details:

Per Diem LDRP RNs needed in Livingston, NJ!

- Shift Details: 12-hour day and night shifts available
- Pay Rate: $76/hr.

Job Requirements:

3 years; experience must include L&D, Antepartum and Mother/Baby (Postpartum and Newborn)
Active NJ or Compact license is required at time of submission
Required Certifications: ACLS; BLS; NRP
Charting: EPIC experience required

SUMMARY OF REQUIRED SKILLS

Work Settings: LDRP, Mother/Baby, Antepartum, High Risk Antepartum (work independently in all settings)
Administration of blood & blood products, Drawing Venous Blood, Starting and maintaining IVs, Use of infusion pumps/drips/IV monitoring; Isolation Precautions/PPE
Medication Administration: Anticoagulation therapy, Antihypertensives, Antiseizure, Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin; Vaccine Administration; Epidural Anesthesia, Opioids, Pain assessment/management, Use of PCA
Antepartum: Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), NST (Non Stress Tests), Reflex checks/edema assessment/clonus, EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Fetal Monitoring, Pre-eclampsia/eclampsia
Postpartum: Baby friendly protocols, Assist with breastfeeding/lactation/breast pumps, Episiotomy/Incisional Care, F/C insertion/management, Fundus/lochia/perineum care, Wound assessment/care, Bladder Distension, Cesarean Section, Couplet Care, Multiple Births, Postpartum Hemorrhage, hypertension, Vaginal Delivery
Newborn: Assessment, Hypoglycemia, Thermoregulation, Neonatal Resuscitation, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Phototherapy, Infant ID, Metabolic Screen, Cord Care, Car Seat Education, Discharge teaching to parents, Circumcision assist/post-op assessment & care/parent education
