Full Job Description

Position:Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Location: Renton, WA

Job Type: 16 Weeks Contract + possible extensions

Start Date: 08/17/2026

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Nights Shift 3x12 Hours

Schedule: 3 days/week

Expected Hours: 36 hours per week

Pay for travelers - $3,200.00 - $3,270.00 weekly
Local candidate accepted as well, pay for locals: $75 - $80/hr

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join its acute care team. The ideal candidate will have recent Labor & Delivery experience, be charge-capable, and possess strong clinical skills in labor management, postpartum care, and obstetric emergencies. This position requires the ability to circulate in the OR and manage high-risk obstetrical patients in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric patients.
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
Administer and monitor medications and titratable drips, including Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and Insulin.
Circulate in cesarean section and obstetric surgical procedures.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Collaborate with physicians, neonatologists, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Respond to obstetric emergencies and neonatal resuscitation situations.
Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR.
Float to Postpartum as needed.

RN01

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of experience as a RN - Labor and Delivery.
Active Washington state RN License.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
ACLS Certification.
NRP Certification.
