Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in patient care across diverse settings. As a vital member of our healthcare community, you will provide comprehensive nursing care, coordinate patient treatments, and support recovery and wellness initiatives. Duties

Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform treatment plans.
Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
Manage complex medical procedures such as IV infusions, catheterizations, wound suturing, and ventilator management with precision.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, including discharge planning and case management.
Utilize electronic health record (EHR) system PointClickCare for documentation, order entry, and medical records management.
Conduct diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory specimen collection/processing and basic imaging procedures like sonography or mammography when applicable.
Provide specialized care in areas such as long-term care, hospice & palliative medicine, geriatrics, behavioral health, and more, based on experience.
Support infection control practices and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and safety.
Assist with patient education on health coaching topics including nutrition, chronic disease management, and medication adherence.
Respond promptly to triage calls or urgent care needs with critical thinking and professionalism in fast-paced environments like urgent care or emergency rooms.

Experience

Proven nursing experience in acute care settings such as hospital medicine, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), Level I/II trauma centers or emergency rooms is highly preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in specialized fields including cardiology (cardiac catheterization), nephrology (dialysis), ophthalmology (botulinum toxin treatment), or infectious disease care.
Experience working with diverse populations including pediatric (neonatal ventilator), geriatric (memory care), behavioral health patients or individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or similar platforms for medical documentation and coding (ICD-10/ICD-9).
Knowledge of OSHA standards for sterile processing, aseptic techniques, infection control protocols and laboratory procedures like phlebotomy or specimen collection.
Background in medical-surgical units, outpatient clinics, assisted living facilities or home & community care environments demonstrates versatility.
Critical care experience including ventilator management or trauma medicine enhances ability to handle complex cases effectively.
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and medical terminology to support accurate assessments and interventions. Join us to deliver exceptional nursing care that transforms lives!
