Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our healthcare leadership team. This pivotal role combines clinical expertise with management acumen to oversee nursing operations, ensure high-quality patient care, and foster a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The ADON will support the Director of Nursing in developing policies, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader passionate about advancing nursing excellence and operational efficiency within a vibrant healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing nursing services to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Lead and mentor nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and professional development.
Oversee staffing schedules, manage budgets related to nursing operations, and ensure resource allocation aligns with organizational goals.
Implement strategic planning initiatives to enhance care delivery models, improve patient satisfaction, and meet accreditation standards.
Coordinate educational programs and training sessions for nursing staff, promoting ongoing learning and compliance with best practices.
Monitor clinical performance metrics, conduct audits, and develop action plans to address areas needing improvement.
Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards across all nursing departments.

Experience

Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid license in PA.
Proven management experience within a healthcare or hospital environment, preferably in a leadership role such as Nurse Manager or similar.
Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management within a clinical setting.
Strong background in education administration or teaching roles related to nursing or healthcare disciplines.
Experience working within university-affiliated healthcare facilities or academic medical centers is highly desirable.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive organizational success.
