ANIMAL EYE SPECIALTY CLINIC is dedicated to helping our pets live better lives through better vision. We are a full service veterinary ophthalmology specialty hospital providing complete diagnostic and preventative ocular examinations, medical and surgical therapies and extensive education to our clients for their pets ocular health.
We are looking for a Credentialed (LVT, RVT, CVT, AHT) or highly experienced Technician to join our team. Our technicians and assistants play a vital role in our practice providing the highest quality medicine and customer service to our patients and clients. An ideal candidate would possess strong communication and leadership skills in addition to their technical abilities.

Our Board Certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist encourages the technician to utilize every aspect of nursing care for which they were trained to include:
- Patient restraint and assisting with examinations
- Obtaining detailed history
- Venipuncture
- IV Catheterization
- Intubation
- Anesthetic monitoring
- Medical Terminology
- Strong communication skills with both team members and clients
- Friendly and positive attitude with ability to work well in team atmosphere
- Ability to multi-task, efficient time management and prioritization
- Training will be provided for ophthalmology specific skills. We are searching for a candidate with a strong background in anesthesia and that enjoys surgery. The learning opportunities are endless. Surgical tech responsibilities include calculation and administration of preanesthetic drugs, induction, intubation, monitoring and documentation of vital signs, discerning the difference between abnormal and normal values and overall knowledge and operation of a surgical suite.
