Full Job Description

SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Administrative Assistant to provide temporary support to a busy customer service and sales operations team. This part-time opportunity is ideal for someone with strong administrative, customer service, and organizational skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment. The position is expected to last approximately six months and offers a consistent weekday schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Answer incoming telephone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members.
Monitor shared customer service email inboxes and route requests as needed.
Respond to customer requests for order tracking information, packing slips, invoices, and proof of delivery.
Process simple one-time customer orders that cannot be submitted through standard ordering channels.
Track and follow up on LTL shipments.
Monitor and assist with field service-related email requests, including processing orders and providing shipment updates.
Review and release straightforward customer orders through the order management system.
Assist with account-specific order processing and administrative support.
Perform general administrative duties to support the sales and customer service teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous administrative, sales support, customer service, or office experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable managing multiple email inboxes and prioritizing tasks.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
Experience with order entry, shipping documentation, or ERP/order management systems is a plus.
