Full Job Description

Job Title: Office & Sales Assistant (Construction Industry)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Office & Sales Assistant to join our team. This is a Part-Time, in-office position working morning hours several days per week. For the right candidate, there is a future opportunity for this to transition into a Full-Time role.

This position is a blend of administrative support and sales coordination. Our company specializes in wood truss fabrication. While we work with many professionals in the field, specific truss experience is NOT required—we will provide the necessary training. A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn are our top priorities.

Note: This role is strictly in-office at our location; remote work is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide general office and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.

· Assist with new sales leads, including follow-up communication, and proposals.

· Help maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.

· Track leads, appointments, customer details, and project progress.

· Prepare, organize, and maintain accurate customer, sales, and project files.

· Assist with scheduling meetings, deliveries, and project-related activities.

· Coordinate effectively between office staff, production teams, contractors, and vendors.

· Support invoicing, purchase orders, and other essential paperwork.

· Perform accurate data entry and maintain internal records.

Qualifications:

· A positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn our business are a must.

· Experience within the construction industry is preferred.

· Truss-specific experience is not required; we are happy to train the right person.

· Must be able to work on-site in the office during scheduled hours.

· Reliable, professional, and punctual for morning shifts.

· Willingness to assist with both office administration and sales growth.

· Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.

· Professional written and verbal communication skills.

· Basic computer proficiency (Email, Microsoft Office, Data Entry).

Schedule & Location:

· Part-time

· Morning hours, several days per week

· In-office/On-site required

· Opportunity for Full-Time in the future
