Client Relationship Specialist

Local Allstate Agency in Rutland, VT.

This is a $50,000 (or more!) total compensation role with the ability to go to $70,000 (or more) after initial training and development.

Service-first role where the relationships you build become the opportunities you grow into — without the cold-calling grind. You’ll be the trusted first point of contact for our clients, and as your skills grow, so does what you earn. No insurance experience or license required to start — we support you in getting licensed.

What this role actually is

Service is the heart of the job — and the engine of your growth.

You’re the first point of contact. Clients reach you first. You handle their service needs and become the person they trust.
Sales without the cold-call grind. Your opportunities come from clients you already serve — never a cold list of strangers. Any outreach is to existing clients about their own coverage.
You earn more as you grow. As your skills build, so does your compensation. Service excellence is what drives it.
You’re supported the whole way. You’ll learn alongside experienced agents and advance when you’re genuinely ready — never thrown in alone.

Compensation & benefits

Base salary: $40,000–$55,000, depending on experience.
Performance-based incentives on top of base, which grow as you advance through the role.
Experienced, high-performing team members earn $70,000+ in total compensation.
Licensing support: we provide your exam training course and reimburse your licensing costs once you’re appointed.
Health, dental, and vision insurance.
401(k) retirement plan with company match up to 4%.

The path you’ll follow

It starts with getting licensed, then four stages. You move forward when the skill is real — not on a fixed clock.

Get licensed — a supported start. On your schedule: before you start, or with us while you study. We provide the exam training course and reimburse your licensing costs once you’re appointed. You begin learning our systems while you study.
Ready — learn the foundation. Get to know our products and how we serve, and build the habits that carry you the whole way. No selling yet.
Immerse — the front line, with support. Start handling real service calls with backup nearby. Learn what to handle and when to bring in a teammate.
Serve — own the service desk. Run as first point of contact on your own, and start spotting where clients have unmet needs and connecting them to solutions.
Elevate — full hybrid. Capture the value your service creates: help clients with more of what they need, and become our strongest at keeping them.

No insurance license or experience required to apply. You’ll need to become licensed early on, and we’ll support you through it. Already licensed or experienced? Even better — you’ll move through the early stages faster.
A service mindset, first. Taking great care of clients is the job, every day.
Genuine interest in growing relationships into opportunities. You’re energized by turning a client you serve well into a chance to help them with more — and comfortable acting on it when you spot the need.
Naturally persuasive, in a consultative way. You can guide someone toward the right decision for them.

Curious. You’ll learn our products well enough to spot what a client needs.
Sound judgment. You know what you can handle and when to bring in help.
