Full Job Description

Title: Scheduler

Location: Rib Falls, WI

Job Summary:

The Scheduler is responsible for developing schedules that optimize available resources to maximize efficiencies and meet customer expectations. This role works closely with operational leaders, production teams, and other stakeholders to coordinate production schedules, procure materials, and ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Prepare detailed project takeoffs to develop bills of materials (BOM), including plant and field materials, piece-specific dimensions, and weights
Plan, schedule, and distribute daily and weekly production schedules, adjusting as needed to meet operational requirements
Develop daily hollow core bed schedules and upload bed data to the plotter
Schedule daily and weekly wet-cast production and concrete orders
Procure project-specific production materials in accordance with job requirements
Distribute BOMs to the Fabrication Shop Foreman to support fabrication and tracking of steel and embed orders
Order production materials and supplies from approved vendors as directed by location leadership
Conduct monthly inventory counts as required by the job costing department
Coordinate with site leadership on purchasing, production reporting, and scheduling activities
Audit hardware and production supply inventories to ensure materials are ordered in a timely and efficient manner

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Strong mathematical skills
Well-organized and capable of working independently
Precast manufacturing experience is a plus
Experience with AutoCAD preferred

Physical & Mental Demands:

Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, or handling materials and equipment
Occasional climbing, kneeling, crawling, or lifting and moving up to 25 pounds
Ability to concentrate, follow detailed instructions, communicate effectively, and safely perform job duties
May require operation of tools, equipment, or vehicles associated with the position
Frequent computer and keyboard use
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment:

Work is typically performed indoors
Frequent sitting with occasional standing and walking
Occasional carrying or lifting of 10–40 pounds
Exposure to manufacturing and production environments as needed
Standard business hours with overtime required as business needs dictate
