Job Description

Turn complexity into clarity and deliver innovative applications as a SCRUM Master at GDIT. Here, you’ll support our customers’ most important missions with smart, scalable solutions while we support you in growing and developing your technology career.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your software development expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The SCRUM Master must have:

Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
Experience: 3+ years of related experience
Technical skills:

Plans and facilitates scrum activities, including sprint planning, daily stand up, demos, board reviews, and retrospectives
Maintains JIRA and other information radiators for the teams
Collaborates with clients or end users to understand business requirements
Acts as a liaison between development teams and product management, ensuring that appropriate project process is made
Identifies and resolves impediments that slow development or prevent the team from meeting established goals or milestones
Motivates teams to perform and ensures team members are collectively responsible for all aspects of the committed work (analysis, development, testing, documentation, etc.)
Provides reports based on team capacity and how the team is preforming against capacity
Serves as a scrum master for up to three medium size Agile teams or one large consolidated Agile team
May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals

Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Location: Chantilly, VA (customer site)
US citizenship required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $111,155 - $150,385. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
