Full Job Description

Wavestar Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to help lead and grow our expanding operations. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a proven leader who understands construction from the ground up, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and knows what it takes to deliver quality work safely, on time, and within budget.

The ideal candidate is someone who can step into a project, read plans, identify challenges before they become problems, coordinate every moving part, and keep projects moving from award to closeout.

Responsibilities

- Manage projects from estimating and planning through completion.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, engineering plans, and specifications.
- Prepare estimates, budgets, schedules, and project documentation.
- Coordinate permitting, inspections, and regulatory approvals.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and in-house field crews.
- Determine the most efficient use of in-house labor versus subcontractors.
- Oversee multiple projects while maintaining schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements and public-sector project regulations.
- Build strong relationships with customers, municipalities, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and help grow the business.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of project management experience in construction, telecommunications, utilities, civil, electrical, infrastructure, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of permitting and municipal approval processes.
- Ability to confidently read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and construction documents.
- Experience preparing estimates and managing project costs.
- Working knowledge of prevailing wage projects is highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.

You should be able to manage people, coordinate crews and subcontractors, solve problems quickly, and keep projects moving without constant supervision.

Compensation

Salary: Competitive and based on experience. Compensation will be determined by qualifications, experience, and the value you bring to our team.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
