Full Job Description

Aloha! We are looking for an open-hearted, compassionate, and experienced Intake Coordinator who lives on Oahu. You need to have been an Intake Coordinator in Mental Health already to qualify for this job. You would be working as a team with our two current Intake Coordinators, who are highly skilled and a joy to work beside.

We are a Mental Health Counseling Center providing Holistic and Integrative Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. Our mission is to uncover and heal the root causes of our clients' struggles in order to facilitate lasting change. We support people to become who they truly are, heal their deepest wounds and traumas, and live a meaningful and fulfilling life.

We would be honored to have you join us. Come support a team of highly-skilled trauma healing therapists and holistic/integrative Psychiatric providers. Our office is located in Kailua, Hawaii on Oahu. We will only be considering applicants who are living on Oahu already, though most of your job responsibilities will be performed remotely. The position will require about 15-20 hours per week with potential for more as needed in the future. It would be helpful if you had availability in the evenings during the week and on Saturday so that we can get back to people faster at times when other Intake Coordinators are not available.

Job Responsibilities:

Answering phones, returning phone calls/emails/faxes, intake assessments and pairing clients to best suited provider to meet their needs, answering questions about all the different services/modalities we offer, managing waitlists/spreadsheets, scheduling sessions, updating credit cards on file
Checking insurance eligibility, calling insurance companies about verifying benefits when needed
Handling client paperwork completion process
Support owners with day to day business needs and administrative work as needed

Job Requirements:

1. Experience in the role of an Intake Coordinator for Mental Health

2. Proficient computer and typing skills- we utilize Smart Sheets, Therapy Notes EHR software, and Google suite of Apps including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, and Sheets

3. Fast internet connection and a smart phone

4. Confidential, quiet, and professional workspace
