Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our small company in South San Francisco as a Plasma Cutter Operator AND CAM designer. The role involves operating our CNC 4 x 10 plasma cutter table for 24-26 gauge metal sheets, precise cuts, dealing with troubleshooting errors, and designing HVAC fittings using ShopData CAM software that will be cut on machine. We are looking for someone interested in a permanent part-time/full time position. No experience needed, as long as you feel somewhat comfortable with computer programs it’s straight forward to learn. Responsibilities

Operate CNC plasma cutter machine to fabricate parts as per drawings
Maintain CNC machine
Designing Fittings as needed and good workflow between design software and machine control software
Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation
Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met while maintaining safety standards

Requirements

Experience with precision measuring instruments and tooling
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings of parts being cut
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control
Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
