Position Overview
La’Aurora is seeking a motivated and creative Artists & Repertoire (A&R) Intern to help discover, develop, and support emerging talent within our youth music and performing arts programs.
This internship is ideal for someone passionate about music, artist development, talent scouting, songwriting, music production, branding, and the entertainment industry. The A&R Intern will work closely with artists, producers, vocal coaches, choreographers, and executive leadership to help shape artists into confident, performance-ready professionals.
Outstanding interns may transition into paid A&R or Artist Development positions within 6–12 months, based on performance and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Discover and evaluate emerging singers, rappers, musicians, producers, dancers, and performers.
- Assist in identifying artists with strong creative and commercial potential.
- Support artist development plans and career growth strategies.
- Coordinate auditions, showcases, rehearsals, recording sessions, and live performances.
- Provide constructive feedback on vocals, songwriting, performance, branding, and stage presence.
- Collaborate with producers, songwriters, choreographers, vocal coaches, and media teams.
- Help match artists with producers, writers, musicians, and creative collaborators.
- Assist with demo reviews and music submissions.
- Help organize talent showcases and artist development workshops.
- Support creative direction for performances, music videos, branding, and promotional content.
- Research current music industry trends across multiple genres.
- Maintain organized artist files, development notes, and project timelines.

- Familiarity with DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, FL Studio, or GarageBand is a plus.
