Full Job Description

LOFT THIRTY ONE is hiring for a Senior Interior Designer that will lead multiple luxury residential and/or commercial projects simultaneously while collaborating closely with clients, builders, architects, and the internal design team. This role requires strong design instincts, excellent organization, and the ability to confidently manage projects from concept to installation.

This position is in person in Ponderay, ID. Pay is DOE.

Qualifications

2–5 years of professional interior design experience at an interior design firm
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
Strong portfolio showcasing residential interior design work
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
Experience creating construction drawings, elevations, finish schedules, and furniture plans
Experience creating high quality renderings.
Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, lighting, plumbing, cabinetry, and furnishings
Exceptional organization and project management skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
Positive attitude with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset
Experience with luxury residential projects

Responsibilities

Lead residential and commercial design projects from concept through installation
Meet with clients to understand project goals, lifestyle, and design vision
Develop design concepts, mood boards, finish palettes, and presentations
Create floor plans, elevations, construction drawings, and furniture layouts
Specify furniture, lighting, plumbing, tile, stone, cabinetry, and finish materials
Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and vendors
Prepare client presentations and material selections
Manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation
Conduct site visits, field measurements, and installation oversight
Mentor junior designers and collaborate with the design team
Maintain the highest level of organization throughout every phase of the project
