The Analyst, Finance Systems - Oracle is responsible for maintaining application processes for Oraclebased ERP systems, analyzing and configuring Oracle EBS modules to meet business requirements, and supporting Oracle applications to meet user and data needs. This role involves data administration, user support, system monitoring, report development, troubleshooting issues, and providing training to end-users. This role is also responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 Finance applications. Partners closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to ensure system reliability, optimize processes, and align technology solutions with business needs. The ideal candidate is a hands-on finance systems professional who can support the current environment while contributing to future-state design and improvements. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting and improving financial processes, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering insightful advice on the system design and development.

Responsibilities:

Performing functional, integration, and data testing of Oracle applications.
Assisting with data and metadata validation processes. Maintaining Oracle security.
Analyzing system performance and implementing solutions to improve efficiency.
Troubleshooting by diagnosing and resolving issues with Oracle applications.
Providing technical support to users, resolving queries, and ensuring the smooth operation of Oracle systems.
Identifying and implementing improvements to Oracle-based processes and workflows.
Working with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for Oracle applications.
Configuring Oracle applications to meet business needs and integrate with existing systems.
Creating and maintaining documentation for Oracle systems, processes, and solutions.
Provide hands-on functional support for Oracle EBS Finance modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management), including configuration, metadata maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Act as the primary liaison between Accounting, Finance Systems, and IT teams to drive issue resolution and system enhancements.
Collaborate with finance leadership and accounting operations to translate business requirements into system and process improvements.
Analyze, document, and improve business processes, controls, and standard operating procedures (experience with BPMN preferred). Lead and coordinate system changes, user acceptance testing (UAT), production support, and month-end activities.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve automation, reporting, controls, and user experience.
Support finance systems strategy, governance, and roadmap planning initiatives.
Develop and maintain system documentation, reports, and training materials.
Providing training to end-users on how to use Oracle applications and systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree Major: Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
At least 5 years of experience working with Oracle and finance systems support applications
Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Finance modules (GL/AP/FA/CM).
Experience with Oracle Cloud and Hyperion is a plus
Strong understanding of Oracle database administration principles and practices.
Understanding of Oracle architecture, tables, data flows, and how they relate to the supported business applications.
Proficiency of SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation and querying.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues with Oracle systems.
Knowledge of system design principles for Oracle modules.

Strong understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, including tables, data flows, and application functionality.
MS minimum to advanced Excel skills for data analysis for querying and data analysis (SQL preferred)
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and resolving complex Oracle system issues.
Solid understanding of system design principles within Oracle modules.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both technical and non-technical audiences).
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Eagerness to ask questions, building an understanding of Concentra’s functional operations
Initiative to learn, with an effort to consistently identify areas of potential improvement
Excellent oral and written communication skills; prior experience speaking in front of management teams a plus
Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive data and maintain confidentiality
Results oriented, independent self-starter who is effective in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining data integrity and accuracy
Ability to multi-task and deal with multiple priorities
Develop excellent working relationships with colleagues at all levels, consistently conveying a positive, professional customer service attitude
Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
