Full Job Description

Client Overview:
Our client is an established organization in Miami with a collaborative Finance team and strong opportunities for professional development, and is seeking an interim/temporary Senior Revenue Accountant to help their team during a critical time of year.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$75k - $95k Annually DOE

Position Overview:
The Senior Revenue Accountant will be reporting to Accounting leadership. This role supports corporate accounting and revenue operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, revenue recognition, and month-end close activities across multiple entities.

Responsibilities of the Senior Revenue Accountant:

Support month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and multi-currency accounting.
Review revenue recognition and customer contracts for accounting compliance.
Reconcile AR, unbilled costs, and key balance sheet accounts.
Prepare invoices, revenue reports, and financial reconciliations.
Maintain customer, project, and contract data within ERP systems.
Assist with process improvements, system implementations, and audit support.
Partner with internal teams to resolve billing and revenue-related matters.
Complete additional accounting projects as needed.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Revenue Accountant:

3 - 5+ years of accounting experience within a large corporate or multinational environment.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition, and month-end close.
Experience supporting audits and financial reporting.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
ERP experience.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Revenue Accountant:

CPA certification or active pursuit.
Experience with Workday Financials or a comparable ERP platform.
Experience with Workday or similar is preferred.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
