Full Job Description

Ecology Tech, Inc. / S & S Metal Recycling is a family owned company that has been recycling metal in the Fox Valley area for over 30 years. We are looking for the right person to fill the key role of Office Manager.

Responsibilities:

Organize and maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll for multiple companies.
Perform HR functions; recruiting, hiring, onboarding new personnel and termination paperwork. Background checks and drug testing. Attendance, vacation, and disciplinary reports.
Manage DOT records, filings, driver files & random drug testing.
Oversee workflow processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Work with professional support team (accountant, insurance agent, banker, legal)
Work with team to handle and record incidents.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Requirements:

Excellent management and leadership skills
Proven experience as an Office Manager
Proficiency in Quickbooks & MS Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
Excellent time management skills, written and verbal communication skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Attention to detail and problem solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours.
