Full Job Description

The Role

We are hiring a Sr. Manager, Growth Marketing to help our client modernize how they generate pipeline, identify buying signals, and engage technical and business buyers in highly targeted industries.

This is not a traditional SaaS demand generation role. This role combines strategic growth thinking with hands-on execution across paid acquisition, lifecycle marketing, conversion optimization, and funnel performance.

Our market is specialized, technical, and relationship-driven. Generic lead generation tactics do not work here. We need someone who can combine strategic thinking, experimentation, data analysis, AI tooling, and strong messaging instincts to help us find and convert the right accounts faster.

You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, Developer Relations, and leadership to build scalable growth systems that improve pipeline quality — not just lead volume.

This role is ideal for someone who is excited by:

complex B2B markets,
technical products,
AI-enabled marketing workflows,
account-based growth strategies, and
building modern marketing systems from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

Growth Strategy & Execution

Develop and execute highly targeted growth campaigns focused on priority industries and accounts, including but not limited to placing and rapidly iterating on digital ads and constantly improving email drip or nurture sequences
launching and rapidly optimizing paid acquisition campaigns,
writing landing page copy to improve conversion performance,
constantly building and refining lifecycle and nurture email journeys,
testing messaging, positioning, and offers across channels,
owning SEO and AEO strategy and execution working with an external agency,
and continuously analyzing funnel performance to improve pipeline quality and conversion rates
Take ownership of attribution pipeline and scoring models
Contribute to our emerging account-based marketing (ABM) and trigger-based outbound motions
Partner with BDRs and Sales to identify and act on buying signals
Improve MQL-to-SQL conversion through better targeting, qualification, and messaging
Continuously test positioning, messaging, offers, and channel strategies

AI & Data-Driven Marketing

Use AI tools and data platforms to improve prospect research, segmentation, personalization, and workflow automation
Identify patterns in engagement and pipeline data to refine targeting and messaging
Help evolve our client into a more AI-enabled, insight-driven marketing organization
Evaluate and implement emerging AI marketing tools and workflows

As a member of our tight-knit marketing team, you'll also help translate complex technical capabilities into compelling industry-specific messaging and campaigns, pitch in to creating marketing assets, work collaboratively with our sales team to improve lead quality and feedback loops, and help support events, webinars, and other customer-facing engagements as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Required

5-10 years proven, repeated experience delivering tangible results through growth marketing.
Demonstrated experience using modern AI-enabled marketing workflows and tools
Experience operating in a highly targeted or technical B2B platform marketing environment
Experience working for a start-up company
Excellent messaging and storytelling skills
Comfortable working with data, experimentation, and iterative optimization
Strong curiosity and willingness to deeply understand technical products
Ability to operate strategically while also executing hands-on

Strong Plus

Experience marketing to industrial, transportation, logistics, manufacturing, or technical engineering audiences
Experience with ABM and outbound pipeline generation
Familiarity with AI-assisted research, workflow automation, and enrichment tools
Technical fluency sufficient to confidently discuss product architecture and use cases
Experience supporting field events, webinars, or technical demos

Within the first 12 months, success in this role could include:

Higher-quality pipeline entering Sales
Improved MQL-to-SQL conversion rates
Better identification of buying signals and ICP fit
More efficient and scalable growth workflows using AI and automation
Stronger vertical-specific messaging and campaigns
Increased alignment between Marketing and Sales
