We’re hiring a Marketing Project Manager on behalf of a fast-paced, full-service digital marketing agency based in our Alpharetta, GA office.
This is a temp-to-perm, full-time, on-site opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment and has a passion for keeping marketing projects organized, teams aligned, and clients informed.
As a key member of the team, you’ll manage ongoing marketing work across the agency’s core services, including PPC, SEO, blogs, social media, email marketing, creative, reporting, and campaign execution. The right candidate is a natural communicator, highly organized, and comfortable leading marketing initiatives from planning through delivery while keeping client goals, timelines, budgets, and performance expectations in focus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage end-to-end marketing projects and campaigns, including PPC, SEO, blog content management, social media management, creative requests, email campaigns, reporting, and other digital marketing deliverables.
Proactively communicate with clients through client-facing meetings, emails, status updates, and follow-ups.
Lead internal and cross-functional collaboration across strategy, paid media, SEO, content, design, development, and account teams.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, task assignments, and budgets for marketing initiatives.
Monitor progress, track tasks, and ensure all marketing deliverables stay on schedule, within scope, and aligned with client objectives.
Coordinate recurring marketing deliverables, including monthly blogs, social content, campaign launches, creative assets, SEO updates, PPC requests, reporting, and client review cycles.
Identify risks, resolve roadblocks early, and communicate key issues or delays to leadership before they impact delivery.
Keep documentation, workflows, campaign notes, meeting recaps, and status updates current and organized for all assigned clients.
Ensure marketing deliverables meet quality standards before client review or publication, including proofing, QA, brand alignment, and accuracy checks.
Adapt to changing project needs by managing revisions to scope, timing, priorities, or budget for marketing initiatives.
Support client strategy execution by helping translate approved marketing plans into actionable tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
Coordinate with internal specialists to ensure PPC, SEO, content, social, and creative work is completed accurately and on time.
Support reporting cycles by ensuring campaign updates, deliverables, insights, and next steps are documented and ready for client-facing review.
Evaluate project outcomes to ensure successful delivery of both short-term marketing needs and long-term client goals.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
This role requires in-office presence at our Alpharetta office. Candidates seeking a hybrid or remote position should not apply.
3+ years of project management experience specifically managing digital marketing projects or campaigns in a digital marketing, creative, or advertising agency environment is required. Applicants who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.
3+ years of hands-on experience working with marketing teams, including paid media, SEO, content, social media, design, and/or creative teams.
Strong understanding of digital marketing workflows, including PPC campaign support, SEO deliverables, blog/content production, social media calendars, creative review processes, reporting, and client approval cycles.
Experience managing multiple clients, campaigns, or marketing initiatives simultaneously with strong time management and attention to detail.
Ability to keep internal teams organized, follow up consistently, and ensure project details do not fall through the cracks.
Effective written and verbal communicator with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Comfortable communicating directly with clients and internal teams regarding timelines, deliverables, blockers, scope, and next steps.
Proficient in project management and productivity tools including ClickUp, Google Workspace, Zoom, and design collaboration tools.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred.
Travel as required for client meetings, presentations, or project milestones.
