Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Template Technician to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting templates used in our production processes. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of template creation, supporting high-quality product outputs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced drafting and measurement systems, contributing to the seamless operation of our manufacturing process and supporting our field operations teams.

Duties

Digitally create precise templates using laser-measuring devices, schematics, architectural drawings and CAD files to meet production and material specifications
Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as Laser Templater, AutoCAD, and other measurement tools to ensure template accuracy
Create digital renderings to client-specific design elements and fabrication tolerances
Interpret drawings and technical manuals related to engineered and natural stone, for accurate template creation
Conduct routine inspections of templates and associated machinery to identify wear or defects, performing minor repairs or adjustments as required in the field
Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory management
Support field service operations by assisting with installation, client relationships , and troubleshooting of templates in various housing environments

Qualifications

Proven experience working within the stone and construction industry with a focus on drafting and achitecture
Strong knowledge of mathematics, measurement systems, and schematics interpretation
Hands-on experience in construction
Familiarity with drafting software
OSHA 10 training
Excellent analysis skills for troubleshooting complex designs or design related issues efficiently
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English
Construction stone industry experience preferred; military background is a plus for discipline and technical training familiarity
Required Federal background screening
