Responsibilities
Join our HR team as an Employee Relations – Accommodations Specialist and help shape the employee experience at TikTok USDS. You will lead the workplace accommodations process, partnering with employees, HR Business Partners, Legal, and business leaders to deliver thoughtful, compliant, and employee-centric solutions. This role will also help drive scalable programs, policies, and resources that support an inclusive workplace while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws. Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and candidates requesting workplace accommodations (e.g., medical, disability, pregnancy, religious) throughout the employment lifecycle. - Lead the interactive accommodation process by reviewing requests, evaluating medical documentation, and partnering with HRBPs, Legal, managers, and other stakeholders to determine reasonable accommodations. - Partner with HR and management to evaluate job functions, including assessing the essential functions" of a role. - Coordinate accommodation-related leave requests with the external Leave of Absence (LOA) administrator. - Manage a high volume of confidential accommodation cases from intake through implementation, documentation, and follow-up. - Research and recommend appropriate workplace accommodations, assistive technologies, and workplace modifications in partnership with Facilities, EHS, vendors, and other cross-functional teams, as needed. - Develop and update template communications, medical questionnaires, and accommodation agreement forms to ensure a consistent employee experience. - Advise HRBPs, leaders, and employees on accommodation processes, policies, and applicable employment laws. - Analyze accommodation trends and case data to identify risks, improve processes, and enhance the employee experience. - Partner with the broader Employee Relations team on cases involving performance management, investigations, behavioral concerns, or other workplace matters.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - 5+ years of Employee Relations experience with significant responsibility for workplace accommodations. - Experience managing high-volume accommodation cases in a fast-paced environment. - Strong knowledge of U.S. accommodation and leave laws (e.g., ADA, PWFA, FMLA, CFRA). - Experience partnering with HR, Legal, managers, and third-party leave administrators throughout the interactive process. - Excellent communication, judgment, and stakeholder management skills. - Experience using HRIS or case management systems (e.g., Workday, AbsenceOne) and leveraging case data to identify trends and drive improvements. - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: - Juris Doctorate (J.D.) or advanced degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, or a related field. - Experience supporting accommodations in a global, fast-paced, or highly regulated environment. - Experience supporting employees in the United Kingdom & Australia, with working knowledge of applicable employment laws (e.g., UK Equality Act 2010 and Australia's Fair Work Act 2009).

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $97470 - $216600 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
