Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Trader to join our financial services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing trades, analyzing market trends, and managing risk to optimize investment portfolios. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, securities law, and asset management principles. The Trader will work closely with research analysts and portfolio managers to develop strategies that align with client objectives and regulatory standards, ensuring compliance and maximizing returns.

Duties

Execute buy and sell orders across various securities markets using advanced financial software and Bloomberg terminals.
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and research to identify investment opportunities and assess market conditions.
Apply risk analysis and risk management techniques to mitigate potential losses while capitalizing on market movements.
Negotiate trade terms with brokers and counterparties to secure favorable prices and conditions.
Monitor market developments, economic indicators, and securities law updates to inform trading strategies.
Collaborate with asset management teams to develop investment strategies aligned with client goals.
Maintain detailed records of all transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Utilize financial acumen to interpret complex data, perform quantitative analysis, and support decision-making processes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in trading within financial services or asset management firms.
Strong knowledge of securities law, financial analysis, and investment strategies.
Proficiency in financial software platforms such as Bloomberg, along with excellent research skills.
Solid understanding of financial concepts including risk analysis, risk management, and portfolio optimization.
Exceptional negotiation skills to secure advantageous trade terms.
Analytical mindset with strong math skills and the ability to interpret large datasets accurately.
Familiarity with financial acumen tools like Bloomberg terminals and other trading platforms.
Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Relevant certifications or licenses related to securities trading are preferred but not mandatory. This position offers an exciting opportunity for motivated professionals eager to excel in a competitive trading environment while contributing to the success of our clients' investment portfolios.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
