Lead Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner
Full-Time San Antonio, TX (Two Locations)
$105,000 – $165,000+ Total Compensation (Uncapped)
The Opportunity
Luna Allure Advanced Aesthetics is one of the fastest-growing medical spas in San Antonio, with two premier locations in Stone Oak and Alamo Heights, over 900 five-star reviews, three additional locations planned across San Antonio and Austin in the next 24 months, and a guest experience built on Italian luxury and advanced clinical aesthetics. We have big plans for what comes next, and we want people on this team who are excited to grow with us.
Our La Spezia Method, a proprietary Italian aesthetic technique developed by our Aesthetics Director, Jo Ann Cilona, over 15 years of training on the Northern Italian coast, has built a fiercely loyal client base. Hundreds of active clients across both locations have been asking us for injectable services. The demand is already here. We need the right provider to meet it.
We are looking for a Lead Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner to anchor our new injectable service line, serve as the primary injector on the floor, train and lead the RN injectors who will join the team as we grow, and develop into the clinical leader of a department that scales with us. You will work with engaged ownership who are hands-on every day, a dedicated operational team that handles scheduling, marketing, and logistics, and the clinical backing of our Medical Director, Dr. Vitali Azouz, M.D, a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who oversees all protocols and delegation. Your job is to do what you do best: treat patients, deliver exceptional results, and build a loyal injectable practice within a brand that already has the clients, reputation, and momentum.
This role is not for someone looking for a quiet chair in a pre-built department. It is for a provider who sees a packed client list, a strong brand, and a high-energy team, and thinks, "I can turn this into something incredible."
What You Will Do
Inject
- Perform aesthetic injectable treatments, neuromodulators, and dermal fillers beginning within the first two to three weeks of employment
- Conduct personalized aesthetic consultations, design treatment plans tailored to each client’s goals, and deliver a clinical-luxury treatment experience
- Build and maintain a loyal injectable patient base through follow-ups, touch-ups, and long-term aesthetic planning
- Recommend comprehensive treatment plans that combine injectables with Luna Allure’s non-invasive services (RF, cold plasma, microneedling) for full-spectrum skin transformation
Client Care & Medical Screening
- Conduct brief medical screenings for spa clients, getting to know their health history, ensuring they are safe and ready for treatment, and building the kind of trust that turns a first-time guest into a long-term injectable client
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation in our EMR (Aesthetic Record)
Clinical Leadership
- Work alongside deeply engaged ownership and our Medical Director to review, refine, and implement clinical protocols, standing orders, and consent documentation
- Help hire, train, and clinically supervise 2–4 RN injectors over the next 12 months as injectable demand grows across locations
- Participate in monthly quality reviews with Dr. Azouz and help shape the clinical standards for the injectable department
- Stay current on emerging injectable products, techniques, and technologies; evaluate and recommend new treatments for our menu
- Be available for on-call clinical consultation and telemedicine triage for adverse events during business hours
Collaboration
- Partner with our Aesthetics Director, General Manager, Operations Manager, and Sales & Performance Manager to weave injectables into the broader client experience
- Cross-reference between our esthetician treatment programs and injectable services to build complete, multi-modality treatment plans
What We Require
- Active Texas APRN license (FNP-BC, AGNP-C, or equivalent) in good standing with prescriptive authority eligibility
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on cosmetic injectable experience (neuromodulators and dermal fillers) in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery setting
- Demonstrated skill in facial anatomy assessment, needle and cannula techniques, and complication management (including vascular occlusion recognition and hyaluronidase reversal)
- A consultative, treatment-plan-driven approach to patient care — you understand that the consultation is where the relationship begins
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Strong documentation discipline and comfort with EMR systems
- Ability to work independently under physician delegation with rigorous compliance standards
- Willingness to float between our Stone Oak and Alamo Heights locations based on patient volume
Physician Assistants (PA-C) with equivalent aesthetic injectable experience are also encouraged to apply.
What Sets You Apart
- Jeuveau experience (our primary neuromodulator)
- Biostimulator experience (Sculptra, Radiesse, hyperdilute techniques)
- Fat dissolver experience (Kybella, PCDC)
- IV therapy certification and clinical experience
- Laser treatment experience (ablative and non-ablative)
- Prior experience mentoring, training, or supervising injectors or RN staff
- KOL or trainer status with any aesthetic manufacturer
- Bilingual English/Spanish (strongly preferred for the San Antonio market)
- Existing patient following in the San Antonio area
Who You Are
Beyond credentials, we are looking for a specific kind of person. The right candidate for this role:
- Is energized by the idea of building something meaningful inside an established, fast-growing brand, not starting from scratch, but taking a strong foundation and making it extraordinary
- Thrives with both clinical autonomy and strong operational support, you want the freedom to practice your way, backed by a team that handles scheduling, marketing, and logistics
- Is motivated by performance and income growth, you track your own numbers, you want to know your rebooking rate, and you are energized (not intimidated) by uncapped earning potential
- Enjoys mentoring and developing others, the idea of training the next generation of injectors excites you, not drains you
- Delivers natural, confidence-boosting results and takes pride in the artistry of what you do
- Sees a packed schedule of clients already asking for injectables and thinks: this is exactly the challenge I want
- Is excited by a growth trajectory, you're not just looking for a chair to inject from, you want to build a career inside a company where your role expands as the business does
Compensation
We designed this package to be the most transparent and competitive offer in the San Antonio aesthetic market. No hidden ceilings. Here is exactly what you earn:
Base Salary
$85,000 – $100,000 per year, based on experience, skill range, and existing patient book.
Performance Bonuses (Uncapped)
$20,000 – $40,000+ per year at target. Structured bonuses tied to injectable department performance, client conversion, and team-building milestones. There is no cap. The more the department grows, the more you earn.
Provider Gratuities
In a premium-aesthetic environment where clients invest in their appearance and develop lasting relationships with their provider, gratuities are a natural part of the practice. You keep 100% of what you receive. Based on comparable provider roles in our market, annual gratuities typically range from $15,000 to $25,000 or more, depending on treatment volume and client relationships.
Annual Wellness Package ($6,000+ Value)
- Monthly complimentary aesthetic treatment of your choice
- Quarterly treatment for a family member
- Employee discount on all skincare products and services
Additional Benefits
- Employer-paid professional liability and malpractice insurance
- Annual CE and training stipend (manufacturer trainings, aesthetic conferences, advanced certifications)
- Paid time off and sick days
- Growth pathway into multi-location clinical leadership as Luna Allure scales to five locations across San Antonio and Austin
Please note: Luna Allure does not currently offer employer-sponsored health, dental, or vision insurance. Our cash compensation, uncapped bonuses, and provider gratuities are structured to exceed the total compensation at practices that include benefits but offer lower base pay and capped earning potential.
Total Year 1 Compensation at Target: $105,000 – $165,000+
(Base + Bonuses + Gratuities + Malpractice + CE + Wellness Package. Bonuses and gratuities are uncapped.)
