Description

4-C has a great opportunity for a full time Certification Specialist. The Certification Specialist regulates in-home child care businesses. Our ideal candidate understands child care and speaks both English and Spanish.

Are you able to translate between Spanish and English?

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support Early Childhood professionals and enforce regulations by visiting their in-home child care businesses.
Ensure equitable services by using Spanish/English skills in multiple programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must speak Spanish and English. Experience in the child care field in both languages is preferred.
4 years of experience in Social Work, Child and Family Studies, Early Childhood Education, or related field OR Associate Degree and 2 years of experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to understand complex regulations
Ability to work occasional evenings
Must provide own transportation in 9-county service area; reimbursement provided

JOB DETAILS

$25-26 per hour depending on experience and skills

This position requires regular site visits in southern Wisconsin; administrative work can be done from home.
Occasional evening work is required.
