Compensation Structure

Compensation is paid on an hourly basis. Contributors are expected to maintain a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week. Hours and project duration may vary depending on project requirements and business needs.

Job Summary

In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input.

No prior experience in AI is required—your bilingual expertise in Korean and English and your linguistic skills are what matter most.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately transcribe and translate video content between Korean and English, including precise time-stamping.
Analyze and interpret speakers' emotional tone, intent, and cultural context with a high degree of accuracy.
Review and ensure grammatical, syntactic, and structural accuracy across both languages.
Interpret specialized or nuanced terminology while preserving meaning and contextual depth.
Perform advanced linguistic tasks such as tone analysis, contextual interpretation, and multimedia language evaluation.
Collaborate on a variety of language-related tasks based on evolving project requirements.
Deliver consistently accurate, high-quality work while meeting project deadlines and maintaining a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Fluent in both written and spoken Korean and English.
Demonstrated experience in transcription, translation, localization, or linguistic analysis involving Korean and English.
Strong ability to recognize emotional nuance, speaker intent, and tone across different types of content.
Excellent understanding of grammar, syntax, linguistic structure, and contextual interpretation in both languages.
Strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment while maintaining effective communication.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree or academic background in linguistics, translation, communications, or a related field.
Experience working on multimedia transcription, localization, or complex language analysis projects.
Familiarity with transcription software, CAT tools, or other language technology platforms.

Start Timeline & Availability

We typically fill roles quickly and are looking for professionals who can begin soon after completing the hiring process. Availability to commit at least 15 hours per week and start promptly is preferred.
