Full Job Description

CNC Maintenance Technician position available in the Wixom, Michigan area located at our client location who is an established manufacturer.

The Maintenance Technician position is a direct hire opportunity with a pay range of $65k to $70k based on experience. This is a 1st shift opportunity with a schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., M-F.

Primary responsibilities for the maintenance technician position:

Inspect assigned equipment daily and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Maintain preventive maintenance records and repair logs.
Troubleshoot equipment and systems, develop corrective actions, and complete repairs.
Communicate maintenance issues and equipment status to the -Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
Complete maintenance repairs in assigned areas.

Secondary responsibilities:

Assist with sourcing and ordering maintenance parts and inventory.
Participate in safety committee activities, equipment upgrades, and Kaizen projects.
Train employees on startup and operation of peripheral machinery.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required experience and skills:

At least 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience with CNC machine repair and PLC troubleshooting.
Knowledge of high-voltage systems (240V/480V), wiring, schematics, and print reading.
Familiarity with robotics and robot programming.
Understanding of hydraulics and pumps.
Proficiency with computer-based maintenance software and systems.
