Overview:

The Advisor Development Lead plays a critical role in driving the Travel Genie advisor experience, owning day-to-day engagement while improving the systems, resources, and processes that enable advisor Development. This role goes beyond reactive support—serving as a trusted partner, coach, and experience champion for the Travel Genie community.

This individual is proactive, highly organized, and solutions-oriented, with a passion for helping independent travel advisors build confidence, consistency, and income.

Key Responsibilities:

Advisor Development & Experience Leadership

· Serve as the primary Development partner for Dream Builder advisors, supporting Genie Travel Company’s largest segment.

· Coach advisors to build consistency and confidence, helping them achieve $5,000+ in annual commission through practical, actionable guidance.

· Deliver timely, solutions-focused support across all channels, including the Support inbox and Travel Genie Facebook Group.

· Build trust through clear communication, proactive guidance, and reinforcement of best practices.

· Identify trends, challenges, and growth opportunities, recommending improvements to enhance the advisor experience.

· Escalate and resolve complex issues in partnership with the Genie Success Manager.

Advisor Enablement & Supplier Access Management

· Own and improve the Dream Builder onboarding and enablement experience, ensuring a clear path from activation to productivity.

· Ensure advisors have the tools, access, and resources needed to confidently work with supplier partners and convert bookings.

· Maintain and optimize the Preferred Supplier Registration List for accuracy and ease of use.

· Identify and remove barriers that slow advisor progress, partnering cross-functionally to streamline workflows.

· Reinforce adoption of preferred suppliers and best practices that maximize earning potential.

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

· Monitor advisor engagement, support trends, and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.

· Create and maintain clear resources, guides, and documentation to support self-service and reduce repeat inquiries.

· Translate recurring questions into scalable solutions (FAQs, playbooks, trainings).

· Provide insights to leadership on advisor behavior, needs, and opportunities to improve activation, retention, and revenue.

· Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that enhance the overall advisor experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

· Minimum of 1 year as a Travel Genie, with a strong understanding of advisor workflows and expectations.

· Completion of Signature Travel Expert and Signature Embark training programs.

· Minimum of 1 year of experience coaching and mentoring independent travel advisors or within the travel industry.

· Familiarity with supplier partner platforms and booking systems.

· Background in advisor support, training, onboarding, or operations.

-Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred

Work Schedule:

Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, to support advisors across multiple time zones.
Ability to adjust schedule as needed to ensure consistent, high-quality advisor support.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
