Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient services and administrative support, with expertise in managing patient intake processes and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a crucial role in facilitating patient access to care while delivering exceptional service and support. This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week and will include mainly day shifts, with the possibility of PMs until 7pm. This will also include a weekend and holiday rotation.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing assistance with the check-in process to ensure a positive experience.
Verify patient information and insurance details, ensuring accuracy for billing and medical records.
Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to manage patient data efficiently.
Schedule appointments effectively while managing multiple phone lines and maintaining excellent phone etiquette.

Requirements

Experience in a medical office or healthcare environment, preferably in a front desk or administrative role a plus.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and typing abilities; familiarity with multi-line phone systems is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
