Bolger Brothers, Inc. is looking for a skilled Underground Storage Tank Inspector & tank/line tester to join our team servicing the petroleum industry. Compensation and Scheduled Overview
- Hourly wage based on experience ($18-$35/hour)
- Company pays overtime rate after 40 hours per week
- Hourly wage paid during travel time to and from sites

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Testing underground/aboveground tank components (Tank Testing, line testing, ATG Certification, leak detectors, overfill verification, corrosion protection).
-Conduct State Facility Operation Inspections (PA/MD).
- Record measurements and document findings
- Calculate quantities, complete forms and prepare inspection reports in the field
- Perform and develop scopes for field and office tasks (technical and non-technical) and independent analysis.
- Safely conduct field exploration, inspection, analysis and technical support under supervision.
- Delegate tasks with guidance by senior operations/technical staff.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience inspecting AST or UST petroleum systems
- Hold current State Certifications for inspecting/testing tank systems
- Certification of Federal approved testing procedures.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation, current registration, and insurance
- Computer literate. Proficient in MS Windows, Excel and Outlook
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Understanding of aboveground and underground storage tank components and systems (i.e., Healy, Bravo, Veeder Root, etc.).
- Knowledge of Spill Prevention Control.
- Working knowledge of Fire Code, NFPA, APSA, STI, HMBP as it applies to fuel tanks.
- Regulatory compliance experience in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, West Virginia and/or Virginia is a plus.
- Some experience in oversight of tank installation, modification, removal, and operation.
- Ability to read and understand tank design drawings.
- Work directly with clients, prep and deliver some training.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
