About Us

We are a local Delivery Company seeking a reliable, organized HR Assistant / Hiring Recruiter to support our hiring pipeline and HR operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys recruiting, managing workflows, and helping keep a Delivery Company running smoothly. Experience in recruiting, HR, or administrative work is preferred, but full training will be provided.

Position Overview

This role focuses on:

Pre‑hire recruiting tasks such as sourcing, virtual interviews, and onboarding
HR operations including timecard review, incident tracking, and write‑up preparation
Policy‑based documentation and compliance support

A company phone and laptop are provided. This position is 10am–6pm with flexibility for hybrid work, including remote tasks and in‑person responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Recruiting & Pre‑Hire

Source candidates on Indeed and other hiring platforms
Send screening invites and manage applicant responses
Conduct virtual interviews using company‑approved platforms
Move candidates through the hiring pipeline efficiently
Assist with onboarding remotely or in person
Coordinate pre‑employment drug tests and follow up
Verify background checks and eligibility
Maintain accurate candidate records
Book and coordinate training sessions

HR & Administrative Support

Review employee timecards for errors or missing punches
Enter approved timecard corrections
Track and organize incident reports
Assist with employee write‑ups
Support managers with termination documentation
Maintain confidential employee files
Communicate professionally via phone, text, and email
Manage incoming messages in an efficient and timely manner
Answer basic HR‑related employee questions
Assist with compliance documentation and audits
Apply and reference the Company Policy Handbook when preparing HR documentation

Technology & Documentation

Proficient with computers, online systems, and digital communication
Comfortable using Google Docs, Sheets, Slides or similar tools
Able to create, update, and organize HR documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks
Strong ability to manage digital workflows and maintain organized records
Efficient at managing high‑volume digital communication across multiple platforms

Additional Duties

Participate in job fairs or local recruiting events
Provide support during peak hiring seasons
Complete additional HR or administrative tasks as assigned
Duties may be adjusted based on business needs

Qualifications

Experience in HR, recruiting, administration, or customer service preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable conducting virtual interviews
Ability to multitask and work independently
Proficient with technology, digital tools, and online systems
Experience with Docs, Sheets, Slides, or similar platforms
Ability to learn and apply company policies and procedures
Must maintain strict confidentiality

Job Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old
Must pass a background check
Must pass a pre‑employment drug test
Must be dependable and available Monday–Friday, 10am–6pm

Work Environment

Hybrid role with both remote work and in‑person responsibilities
Flexibility required for on‑site needs
