Job Title: Configuration Management Specialist, Job Posting #148
Location: Tomar Electronics, Inc., 2100 W. Obispo Avenue, Gilbert, AZ 85233
Opening Date: July 8, 2026 Closing Date: July 22, 2026 at 3:00pm
Who We Are
TOMAR Electronics designs and manufactures visual, audible, infrared, and control solutions for emergency vehicle warning, public safety, off-road, government and defense, traffic, industrial, and custom OEM applications. Since 1969, TOMAR has built mission-critical products that protect people and property.
Position Summary
The Configuration Management Specialist is the owner and guardian of product configuration data across its entire lifecycle. This role serves as the primary interface to TOMAR’s ERP / manufacturing system and ensures that every bill of material (BOM), part number, engineering change, and cost element entered into the system of record is accurate, complete, and properly controlled.
This is a non-engineering role suited to an experienced professional who thrives on managing many concurrent, detail-heavy tasks while coordinating across Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Customer Support. Success depends on rigorous change-control discipline, deep ERP / PLM fluency, and the ability to keep stakeholders aligned before product changes go live. It is well suited to someone with a background in product data management, configuration or document control, or manufacturing operations who treats data integrity as a personal standard.
