Job Title: Server/Waiter

Job Summary:
Yalda translates to rebirth of the "sun", the longest night of the year in the Iranian calendar. The idea for "Yalda" sparked from celebrating time with loved ones, sharing food, reading poetry and reminiscing. Our Restaurant hopes to create genuine good times with love and great food.

Our food is from the middle eastern region of Iran.

We pride ourselves primarily in the concept and practice of Persian hospitality. Persian hospitality is more than a culture, it's a way of life. It means truly going above and beyond for guests, making them feel like family, putting their needs first while they dine, and making every bite an explosion of flavors. We are searching for individuals with can-do attitudes and a passion for service. Our extensive training program will grant you the ability to elevate your skills within the service industry and become a well rounded guest-service provider. Candidates must have solid work history without gaps. Professional appearance is required. Commitment to the restaurant is part of our core values.

Job Type: Full Time/ Part Time - AM/ PM

Weekly Pay: $1200 - $2000

Server positions are available.

Job Requirements:

Previous fine-dining serving experience preferred.
Previous server experience required.
Competitive compensation for server staff, (Above industry average).
Full-time server positions available. Weekend availability is required. Weekday availability is flexible but also required.
Great opportunity for professional growth and restaurant operations experience.
Pre Employment Background Check Required
Ability to move within both restaurant locations is preferred but not always required.

Server Duties:
- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly attitude
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process orders and payments
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain a balanced cash register
- Promote sales by upselling menu items and suggesting add-ons
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area

Server/Bartender Physical Demands:

Required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces

Required to stand and walk for extensive periods of time without breaks during busy times
