Job Overview

Universal Environmental Services is seeking a highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our Hazardous Waste team. You will be managing the profile status for our waste disposal operations nationwide. From managing complex profile submittals to coordinating logistics and dispatch, you'll ensure our internal workflows remain seamless and compliant.

Responsilbilties

· Compliance & Profiles: Manage the end-to-end status of waste profiles with multiple disposal outlets nationwide. Experience with profile submittals is a must.

· Logistics Coordination: Assist with scheduling waste pick-ups and deliveries, including dispatch functions for drivers and facilities.

· Documentation: Prepare manifests, labels, and LDRs with close attention to RCRA regulations and best management practices.

· Data & Billing: Update quotes/profiles in our system, assist with billing transactions, and perform collection calls.

· Communication: Act as a professional point of contact for customers and team members via phone and email.

Qualifications

· Must-Have: 2+ years of experience in a hazardous waste setting.

· Regulatory Knowledge: Strong familiarity with RCRA, profiling, and waste manifesting.

· Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and the ability to learn internal software quickly.

· The "Extras": 1+ year of sales experience is a plus.

· Traits: You are a detail-oriented planner who thrives in a fast-paced environment who can work independently or in a team setting.
