Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Receptionist/ Assistant Admin for a contract/temporary opportunity in Novato, CA. This role is focused on document imaging, administrative support, records organization, and quality control within a banking and consumer lending environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with paper files, scanning equipment, and digital document systems. The role offers a structured, team-oriented work environment with supportive leadership, clear daily expectations, and the opportunity to build valuable administrative and document processing experience.

Key Responsibilities

Scan and convert paper documents into accurate electronic files.
Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and readability before and after processing.
Ensure scanned files meet company quality control and document management standards.
Retrieve, sort, organize, and prepare documents as requested.
Monitor daily scanning workflow to support timely processing and productivity goals.
Report scanning errors, equipment issues, or document discrepancies for prompt resolution.
