Job Title: Marketing Coordinator
Reports To: Director of Marketing
Starting Date: July 1, 2026
Company Description:
Cruise.com is the largest website specializing in cruises on the Internet. With
advanced search and booking technology, greater content, and discount prices,
Cruise.com sells more cruises. Our experienced cruise specialists provide the highest
level of personal service on every booking. Cruise.com offers the lowest rates,
value-added offers, and exclusive prices along with extensive tools to assist
customers in making their cruise decision.
Role Overview:
Cruise.com is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Coordinator to
join our marketing team and play a key role in keeping our website content,
promotions, and cruise line pages accurate, current, and visually polished. This role is
ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in getting
the details right, and enjoys being the person who keeps things running smoothly
behind the scenes. In addition to managing website content and promotional
uploads, this role provides light creative support — resizing assets, formatting
banners, and pulling visuals from cruise line media libraries to support campaigns
and web pages. The right candidate is someone who is comfortable in the back-end
of a proprietary CMS, has a good eye for visual consistency, and can juggle multiple
priorities without dropping the ball.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Website Promotions & Content Updates
● Upload and maintain promotional content, deals, and banners across the Cruise.com website.
● Ensure deal placements, featured offers, and promotional modules are live, accurate, and displaying correctly.
● Perform regular QA checks on assigned web pages to confirm promotions and information are current.
● Support the team in updating top-of-search placements and other website promotional features.
● Coordinate with the Marketing Team Lead to prioritize and execute time-sensitive content updates.
Cruise Line Page Maintenance
● Own and maintain an assigned portfolio of cruise line landing pages on the Cruise.com website.
● Keep page copy, sailing information, and promotional offers up to date on an ongoing basis.
● Interact with cruise line representatives as needed to ensure promotional information is current and accurate.
● Support the Explore page initiative by maintaining copy documentation and performing QA against live pages.
● Flag outdated content, broken links, or display issues to the appropriate team members promptly.
Light Creative & Asset Support
● Resize, reformat, and adapt existing marketing assets from cruise line media libraries for use on the website and in campaigns.
● Update banners and promotional graphics with new dates, offers, or copy using existing templates in Canva or similar tools.
● Organize and maintain access to cruise line image libraries, ensuring assets are current and easy to locate.
● Support the web designer and broader marketing team with asset pulls and basic formatting tasks.
Team Collaboration
● Work closely with the Marketing Team Lead, web designer, and
other coordinators to ensure website content is consistently accurate and on-brand.
● Cross-train on co-op billing and proof-of-placement processes
to serve as a backup resource.
● Participate in marketing team check-ins and contribute updates on open tasks and priorities.
● Support the broader marketing team with ad-hoc projects and content needs as they arise.
Requirements:
● 1–3 years of experience in a marketing coordinator, content coordinator,
or related role.
● Experience working within a website CMS (content management system) — ability to upload and format content confidently.
● Hands-on experience with Canva or a similar design tool for basic asset creation and formatting.
● Exceptional attention to detail you catch the typo, the wrong price, and the broken image before anyone else does.
● Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
● Strong written communication skills and the ability to follow brand and style guidelines.
● A team player who is proactive, resourceful, and comfortable asking for clarification when needed.
● Must have a valid, current passport.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Cruise line or travel industry experience.
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
