Role Description

We are seeking a skilled JavaScript REST API Web Developer / Programmer to join our team. This is a full-time remote role. As a Web Developer / Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining DataSelf ETL+ web services using REST APIs and JavaScript. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement API and JavaScript solutions, perform testing and debugging, and ensure the security and performance of our web applications. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to developing cutting-edge business intelligence solutions.

Qualifications

Our ETL+ product development team is in Brazil. Located in Florianopolis, Recife, or vicinities is a plus.
Fluent Portuguese is a must, and English fluency is a plus.
Your available working capacity must align with BRT business hours.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
Experience with RESTful API design and development
Experience with Node.js and Express.js
Proficiency with front-end development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and VueJS 3
Knowledge of database systems and SQL
Preferably experience with development tools such as Git, Snyk, and AI/ChatGPT
Understanding of web security best practices
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
