The iCloud Web team is looking for a passionate and skilled engineer to help us build the next generation of iCloud.com. If you're one of the millions who use iCloud.com, you already know the impact of our work. We're a small, agile team responsible for creating beautiful, intuitive, and high-performance web applications that support users around the globe.

In this role, you'll contribute directly to developing and maintaining features on iCloud.com and related web properties. Your focus will be iCloud Drive and Homepage applications, which are vital to the success of iCloud.com. You'll collaborate closely with multi-functional teams to ensure detailed integration and deliver exceptional user experiences. Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Develop and support new and existing features on iCloud.com and related web properties.

Collaborate with Design, QA, and other teams to deliver high-quality, impactful features.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.

Take ownership and pride in the products you build.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with React, including hooks, context, and modern React patterns.

Knowledge of web security best practices and cryptographic concepts.

Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and web services.

Familiarity with iOS or hybrid mobile development.

Experience delivering web applications with a high standard of accessibility.

Proficiency in real-time and advanced web technologies (WebSockets, WebRTC, WebGL, etc.).

Familiar with integrating applications with OS services via XPC.

Minimum Qualifications

7 + years of experience building pixel-perfect, robust, and customer-focused software.

Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Svelte, Angular, VueJS, etc.).

Shown experience developing high-performance production applications.

Experience collaborating across different teams and functions, with a particular focus on Design & QA, to deliver impactful features/products.

Experience integrating with asynchronous APIs and web services (JSON, etc.).

Solid understanding of fundamental computer science algorithms and concepts.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $184,700 and $324,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
