Full Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Frontend Engineer (React/Typescript) to join their dynamic team. As a Frontend Engineer (React/Typescript), you will be part of the Web Engineering department supporting innovative digital solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Frontend Engineer (React/Typescript)

Location: Hybrid downtown Manhattan

Pay Range: 65-70/hr W2

Type: Contract to Hire Opportunity

U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, and those authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer will be considered.

What's the Job?

Contribute to an agile team by analyzing user stories, grooming features, and developing comprehensive solutions.
Ensure optimal application usability through meticulous manual testing and validation.
Collaborate with product, development, and backend teams to plan, test, and deploy high-quality features.
Assist in estimating project feasibility and effort for new features and enhancements.
Follow and promote consistent development standards and best practices across the team.

What's Needed?

4-8 years of technical experience in a software development environment.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.js.
Experience with modern web frameworks such as Angular is a plus.
Knowledge of REST API development and micro front-end architecture.
Familiarity with automated testing tools like Cypress, Jest, or React Testing Library.
